We cover a wide range of Lotus Notes Domino versions in our applications. We also support our Customers accross and equally wide range of versions. Our expertise and infrastruture set-up along with the stability and reliability of the Lotus Notes Domino platform make this possible.
What versions of Lotus Notes Domino?
Our applications are available for use within Lotus Notes and Domino 6.0x,7.0x, 8.0x and 8.5.x. We aim to support each new release of IBM Lotus Notes and Domino shortly after release by IBM.
There are two primary version releases available:
Version 6.8
Version 6.8 is designed to run on Lotus Notes Domino 6.5.x through to Lotus Notes 7.03 Domino 7.03. This version will run within a mixed environment of servers and clients between those versions of Lotus Notes and Domino.
Version 8.0 and 'X' Version 8.0
Version 8.0 and 'X' Version 8.0 versions all run on Lotus Notes 7.x and 8.x. 'X' Versions refer to X-page extentions and web features in the application. If our version is say, CRM 'X' then this is a web-enabled application using the latest web 2.0 technologies and X-pages techology. X-page technologies have enabled us to significantly improve the features, functions and design of the web applications, compared to older versions of applications running on older versions of the IBM Lotus Domino server.
Version 8.0 and 'X' (X-page) version 8.x release applications will coexist and run within a mixed environment of Lotus Notes 7.x and Lotus Notes 8.x clients and version 8 Domino servers
Typically in many circumstances, as our Customer References will likely testify, we make sure our applications work and would put every effort into working with you to ensure our applications work both in the short, medium AND long term, through which ever Lotus Notes and Domino versions you happen to be running. The only factor that may be affected, could be specific features and whether they will run on your version.
